Dear Dr. Prem Pillay

On behalf of the Executive Committee of the 1st World Congress of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery & Techniques (WCMISST), we want to express our appreciation for the dedication and support for this very first and historic congress with over 600 attendees from 47 countries around the world.

We are very grateful to all the faculty and participants for their valuable contribution and also to all the sponsors who provided the generous support and cooperation in the development of the congress. Only with all of you involvement was it possible to develop such a successful congress.

We are also honored the US Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (USMISS), International Intradiscal Therapy Society (IITS), International Musculoskeletal Laser Society (IMLAS) and the Asian Academy of Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery (AAMISS) united as the official joining societies of the congress along with the involvement of all the other national MISS societies.

Through the 1st WCMISST, we have built the foundation to successfully move forward the advances of minimally invasive spine surgery worldwide and through this process may we continue to unite to further develop higher scientific standards of practice through education, innovation and research to provide the best possible outcomes for our patients suffering with spinal disorders.

The positive responses from many of the attendees regarding the high quality of the scientific program presentations, tele-live surgeries, cadaver workshops, industry workshops and posters prompts us to start organizing all resources for the future. Therefore, very soon you will be receiving various updates from us.

We sincerely thank you each and every one of you and look forward to seeing you and your colleagues and friends at the 2nd WCMISST.
